I know someone who serviced his, apparently it had way too much grease in it, he took some of it out and now its really loud. I'm not sure how easy taking apart a hub is though!

It's pretty loud now, it kinda varies but when its at its loudest it sounds mint! Howz urs?

The pick up is instantaneous but mine is not that loud. I spoke to someone who has one though and he said it gets louder over time. Hope this is helpful!
